Knowledge - the main development factor

Knowledge - posession of information by the society in the global assessment, but most of all by the individuals forming the development process of the humanity, constitutes a fundament for evolution towards the global information society.

Information society is defined as a society based on the knowledge, which becomes its fundamental good. The forming process of the information society acquires presently a very high dynamics, and quickly progressing processes of informatization and knowledge flow in almost every area of society functioning are the main cause.

Information technological knowledge, which provides possibilities fo understanding the functioning mechanisms of such society, is nowadays one of the most valuable area of knowledge, allowing for creative development in its boundary area, implicating the active participation in forming process of such society (also in the professional plane).

Both organiazation and individuals, for their impact on forming of the society not being marginalized, need to acquire and systematically extend their information technological knowledge.
